We’re transitioning from our current identity provider (SiteMinder) to Microsoft Azure to enhance security, scalability, and user experience. After migration, you’ll see a new login screen when accessing applications.
No. Your username and password will remain the same. The login experience will look different, but your credentials are fully synced between systems.
Applications are being migrated in phases over 4 weeks in September 2025.
The new login page is powered by Microsoft Azure. It will have updated branding and a clean, modern design. You’ll still enter your existing credentials to log in.
No. Passwords are already synced, and you will not be required to reset your password as part of this migration.
Only the login page will change. Once authenticated, you’ll access applications as usual. You may notice a brief redirect during login as the new system is used.

No. SSPR and account recovery processes will remain the same. You can continue to reset your password or recover your account as you do today.

An Identity and Access Management (IAM) system is a security framework that ensures only the right individuals have access to an organization’s technology resources.
Think of IAM like a club bouncer:

Your identity = A club member’s ID card, proving who you are

Authentication = The bouncer checking your ID before letting you in

Authorization = The bouncer’s list, deciding which areas you are allowed to enter
Just like a club’s security ensures only the right people are allowed in, IAM protects Daimler Truck’s digital resources by managing access rights—making sure the right people can access the right services. This ensures security, efficiency, and compliance across the entire digital environment.
Your account has been securely synchronized to the new system, which means you can continue using your existing user ID and password.
No password reset is required.
While applications transition to the new CIAM system, they will not transfer at the same time. You may be prompted to login via either the new or old login screen during the short migration period depending on the application you are trying to access.
Regardless of which application you try to access and which login screen you see, the same user ID and password will work.
For corporate employees, your TBDIR.net account can be used to log in to customer applications if you have been assigned the proper access rights in the CIAM system.
If you have been assigned the proper access rights, you can authenticate using your TBDIR.net account by clicking the "Daimler Truck Corporate Login" button on the login screen. This will redirect you to the standard Microsoft Azure login process including MFA.

MFA is not currently required for Daimler Truck North America CIAM. This security enhancement will be introduced in the future to further protect your account and the CIAM system as a whole.
